Open lines night.
We will answer any firearms related question that you call or text to 251-343-0106.
Topics to cover are:
- SB 14, now stalled in the Alabama House which, if passed allow you to carry a pistol in your car without a permit. See the legal tab for more details.
- The continuing debate over the illegal and unwarranted arrest of two University of South Alabama Students. South Alabama was just slapped down in Federal Court for discriminating against a pro-life group and their 1st Amendment rights. Why is there no investigation underway into who called in this FALSE REPORT?
- Why are so many people afraid of seeing a gun, especially in the South? The late Justice Scalia said this at a speech to the National Wild Turkey Federation’s annual convention in Nashville in 2006: “The attitude of people associating guns with nothing but crime, that is what has to be changed,” Scalia told the audience of about 2,000. “I grew up at a time when people were not afraid of people with firearms,” said Scalia, noting that as a youth in New York City he was part of a rifle team at the military school he attended. “I used to travel on the subway from Queens to Manhattan with a rifle,” he said. “Could you imagine doing that today in New York City?”
- Friends of the NRA Dinner, Thursday, April 28th at 5:30 Battleship Park. Tickets: https://www.friendsofnra.org/eventtickets/Events/Details/1?eventId=52886
